75th Anniversary Dinner
Sunday, November 2, 2008

In March 2008, the 75th Anniversary Committee was formed to plan events celebrating our church’s milestone anniversary on May 25th. The events included a concert by the Rahway Ecumenical Choir and Avenel’s Glory Brass and Just Thumbs, as well as an Argyle’s Fish & Chips Dinner, Sunday School Picnic and the Fall Festival. All of these events lead to our grand celebration – our 75th Anniversary Gala at The Forge Inn in Woodbridge.

We got a chance to get dressed up, eat great food, and chat with people we had not seen in a long time. Rev. Jim Thomas was the Master of Ceremonies. The highlight of the evening was the memories shared by current and former members of the congregation, as well as former pastor Rev. David Myers. Our special guests were Elder Barbara McLaughlan, Presbytery Moderator and Peter Khotari and members of the Man-Making Group, who represented the Asian-Indian Community. Music was provided by The Entertainer – Sir Robert of Woodbridge. It was truly an unforgettable evening! Enjoy the pictures! The events are not over yet, so visit our website often to find out what’s happening at The First Presbyterian Church of Iselin!
